Clinical practice adheres strictly to Spanish Medical Deontology, Law 41/2002 on Patient Autonomy, and applicable Spanish healthcare regulations.
Medication Dispensing in Spanish Pharmacies
When clinically justified following medical evaluation, a private electronic prescription under Spanish law (receta electrónica privada) is issued with a secure verification code (CSV/QR), for dispensing at pharmacies in Spain.
Medical Documentation & International Insurance Claims
After your appointment, you receive a digitally signed medical report and an official itemized invoice detailing the physician's license number, clinical summary, and tax registration. This documentation is accepted by private medical insurers and international travel insurance providers (such as Bupa, Allianz, Cigna, AXA, or US travel medical cover) for claim reimbursement.

What kind of problems is this for?
Acute, non-life-threatening complaints such as urinary tract infections, traveler's diarrhea, minor skin or respiratory infections, and similar everyday urgent problems. If an in-person examination or test is needed, I will tell you clearly and guide you to the right next step.
Can I get a prescription in the same consultation?
When it is clinically appropriate, I can issue a private electronic prescription under Spanish law, which can be dispensed at pharmacies in Spain. A prescription is never guaranteed and is only issued when the assessment supports it. Pharmacy fulfillment costs are not included.
What if my problem is an emergency?
This service is for urgent, non-emergency problems. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, or any life-threatening symptom, call 112 immediately or go to the nearest emergency department.
Can I see a GP online in Spain today?
You can check right away. Appointments run every day from 07:30 to 20:30 (Spain time), and the booking calendar shows the free slots live, including any left for today. A slot is never guaranteed. If your problem cannot wait for the next free slot, or you have warning signs such as chest pain or trouble breathing, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Payment and cancellation
- You pay when you book. Prices are in euros and include applicable taxes.
- The fee covers the consultation only, not medicines, lab tests or scans.
- Cancel or change your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or do not attend, the fee is kept.
- If Dr. Yelamo cancels, or the video call fails because of a problem on his side, you get a full refund.
