All medical consultations are conducted directly and privately by Dr. Pedro Yelamo Vera, a fully licensed General Practitioner registered in Spain (Medical Licence No. 484814280, Official College of Physicians of Bizkaia). Clinical practice adheres strictly to Spanish Medical Deontology, Law 41/2002 on Patient Autonomy, and applicable Spanish healthcare regulations.
Medication Dispensing in Spanish Pharmacies
When clinically justified following medical evaluation, a private electronic prescription under Spanish law (receta electrónica privada) is issued with a secure verification code (CSV/QR), for dispensing at pharmacies in Spain.
Medical Documentation & International Insurance Claims
After your appointment, you receive a digitally signed medical report and an official itemized invoice detailing the physician's license number, clinical summary, and tax registration. This documentation is accepted by private medical insurers and international travel insurance providers (such as Bupa, Allianz, Cigna, AXA, or US travel medical cover) for claim reimbursement.

What does a general health consultation include?
A thorough review of your concern or check-up needs, professional assessment, and a clear plan. For pre-travel visits I offer advice appropriate to your destination and history and tell you if specific vaccines or tests are recommended.
Can you administer travel vaccines online?
Vaccines must be given in person. I can advise which are recommended for your trip and guide you on where to get them, but the injection itself takes place at an appropriate clinic.
Is this suitable for a routine check-up?
Yes. Many routine and preventive health reviews can be handled by video. If an examination or test is needed, I will explain the next step and direct you to appropriate in-person care.
Can I get a doctor's letter to travel with my medicines?
Yes, after a video assessment, and only if it supports the letter. It lists the medicines you take, with their active ingredients and why you need them, which helps at airport security and customs. Controlled medicines, such as strong painkillers or some ADHD and sleep medicines, may also need an official Schengen certificate from the health authorities: check the rules of every country you will enter.

Payment and cancellation
- You pay when you book. Prices are in euros and include applicable taxes.
- The fee covers the consultation only, not medicines, lab tests or scans.
- Cancel or change your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before, or do not attend, the fee is kept.
- If Dr. Yelamo cancels, or the video call fails because of a problem on his side, you get a full refund.
